Refund Policy

Cancellations, changes and refunds for your flight booking.

Last updated: October 2026

We want you to know where you stand before you book. This policy explains how cancellations, changes and refunds work for flights booked through Zofare.com.

1. Airline fare rules come first

Each ticket follows the fare rules of the airline. Some fares are fully refundable, some partly, and some not at all. Your fare conditions are shown during booking and in your confirmation email.

2. 24-hour cancellation

Where required by law, such as under US Department of Transportation rules for eligible flights booked at least 7 days before departure, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking for a full refund. Please contact us as soon as possible within that window.

3. Cancelling after 24 hours

  • Refundable tickets: refunded after deducting airline penalties and any Zofare service fee.
  • Non-refundable tickets: usually no refund, though unused taxes may be returned where the airline allows.
  • Unused portions of a ticket are handled according to airline rules.

4. Changing a booking

Date or route changes are allowed only if the fare permits them. You pay any airline change fee plus any fare difference, and a Zofare service fee may apply.

5. Airline cancellations and major schedule changes

If the airline cancels your flight or changes it significantly, you may be entitled to rebooking or a refund under the airline's policy and applicable law. Contact us and we will help you request it.

6. Service fees

Zofare service fees, if any, are shown before payment and are generally non-refundable unless the booking is cancelled in error on our side.

7. How to request a cancellation or refund

  1. Call +1(866) 906-3686, email info@zofare.com, or use our Contact page.
  2. Share your booking reference and passenger names.
  3. We will confirm what the fare allows and submit the request to the airline.

8. Refund timing

Once the airline approves a refund, it is returned to your original payment method. Timing depends on the airline and your bank, and can take several weeks.

9. No-shows

If you do not travel and do not cancel before departure, the ticket is treated as a no-show and is usually non-refundable.
